Location

Newbiggin-on-Lune is a peaceful and unspoilt village in the upper Eden valley in Cumbria. It lies between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales national parks. Although quiet and secluded Newbiggin-on-Lune is easily accessed from the M6 and from the A1.

From the M6

Exit the M6 at junction 38 at Tebay. Follow the A685 east towards Kirkby Stephen. Newbiggin-on-Lune is approximately 6 miles along this road.

From the A1

Take the A66 west from Scotch Corner to Brough. Turn south at Brough on the A685. Follow the A685 through Kirkby Stephen. Newbiggin-on-Lune is about 5 miles beyond Kirkby Stephen.
