Timber Sales



We not only produce fine timber for our own use but we also retail timber to fellow craftsmen and manufacturers. We keep a good range of oak sizes and cuts from quartered to pippy to plain sawn. Where possible we source our timber from Cumbria but we also purchase timber from Germany and occasionally from France for general manufacturing. This timber is cut and dried before producing beams to order.

Oak lathe blanks are produced mainly 4.25" x 4.25" to allow for the diamond shape that can occur during drying for our copy lathe for copyturning . We offer the blanks as they are dried or copyturn to your profile.

We cut and dry elm when available and cut and dry large diameter Scots pine for good quality or replica pine furniture.

We are able to supply specialist orders to customers throughout the UK which other suppliers would outsource to Europe. Timber can be supplied waney edged, sawn to size or even machined into components. If you have a specialist requirement please contact us.
